This visa scheme permits Indians aged between 18 and 30 to reside and work in the UK for a maximum of 2 years.

The UK Government has launched the ballot system for the India Young Professionals Scheme Visa. Eligible candidates can apply through gov.uk. This visa enables individuals aged 18 to 30 from India to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years.

The deadline to apply for the India Young Professionals Scheme visa through the ballot is 1:30 pm on July 18, 2024. All eligible applicants must participate in the ballot to be considered for the visa.

Eligibility Criteria :

– The applicant must be an Indian national aged between 18 and 30.

– The applicant must be at least 18 years old on the intended travel date to the UK.

– The applicant must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.

– The applicant must demonstrate savings of at least £2,530 to support themselves in the UK.

– Applicants cannot have any dependent children under 18 residing with them or for whom they are financially responsible.

Application Process :

Candidates must first participate and be selected in the India Young Professionals Scheme ballot before proceeding with the visa application. Individuals currently in the UK under this scheme or the Youth Mobility Scheme visa are ineligible to apply.

What after entering the ballot?

After applying for the ballot, successful entries will be selected randomly, and applicants will be notified within two weeks after the ballot closes.

There will be no charge to enter the ballot, but candidates must pay £298 to apply for the visa.

Applicants must submit their visa applications, pay the fees including the immigration health surcharge and provide biometrics within 90 days from the date of receiving the email.
